CHT-001 5m MBR Chute
Oceanteam Cable Solutions owns a large pool of cable handling equipment including various cable chutes of 3m and 5m MBR. The CHT001 is a flared chute that is most suitable for cable lay operations. This chute is constructed in one single part fitted with four (4) lift points which require 8.5t shackles each. This chute can be easily installed on a vessel deck/side shell or on a tailor-made foundation via standard ISO twist locks. The chute has an MBR of 5m. The chute is designed to withstand a cable tension of 10mT. Oceanteam can perform specific modifications to the chute based on project requirements. Additionally, Oceanteam can design and build new chutes to spec.
