Tensioners

Oceanteam Cable Solutions owns a large pool of cable handling equipment including various track tensioners and wheel pair tensioners. The ED-017 is the sister tensioner of the ED-016. The tensioner is a hydraulically operated caterpillar track type tensioner with a 1800mm track contact length, perfectly fit for handling subsea power cables. This tensioner can also be used in conjunction with the ED-071 Loading Tower for heavier subsea umbilical handling as well. The robust system can be easily transported on road or vessel and set-up at final location, either bolted or welded, via a sacrificial skid frame. The tensioner can be delivered plug & play with a containerized HPU and a fit for purpose control cabin. The system is controlled through a control console which can be positioned at convenience in the control cabin.
