MCPA-001 Mobile Loading Arm
Oceanteam Cable Solutions builds and owns a large pool of cable handling equipment including loading towers and mobile loading arms. The loading tower provides a flexible solution for various carousel designs. It is easily transportable by truck and can be mobilized onsite. This equipment includes a fixed 5m MBR receiving arm and a 5m MBR hydraulic operated loading arm, rated at 45 mT/m, that allows slewing and vertical translation of the cable on the carousel side. The loading tower can be fitted with a wide range of LCEs from 3mT to 10mT. Both the mobile loading arm and the LCE are remote controlled from an HMI which can be positioned at convenience based on operational spread. The standard loading arm configuration includes a 5 mT Linear Cable Engine (LCE). The spread is provided with two standalone HPUs, one for the LCE (if part of the spread) and one for the loading arm. A certified staircase for safe and easy access is also included.
