ED-071 Loading Tower
Oceanteam Cable Solutions builds and owns a large pool of cable handling equipment including loading towers and mobile loading arms. The loading tower provides a flexible solution for various carousel designs. It is easily transportable by truck and can be mobilized onsite. This equipment includes a fixed 5m MBR receiving arm and a 5m MBR hydraulic operated loading arm that allows slewing and vertical translation of the cable on the carousel side. The loading tower can be fitted with a wide range of LCE or tensioners from 3mT to 15mT. Both the loading arm and tensioner are remote controlled from an HMI which can be positioned at convenience in a separate control cabin. The standard loading tower configuration includes a 10 mT Oceanteam track tensioner. The spread is provided with two standalone HPUs, one for the tensioner and one for the loading arm with a certified staircase for safe and easy access to the loading tower.
