Cable Carousels

Our cable carousels are used throughout a project’s lifecycle: loading cable at the factory or quay, transporting it by vessel to the installation site, and paying it out in a controlled sequence during lay operations — all while keeping the cable’s bend radius and tension within safe limits.

Every unit in our fleet is engineered in-house and built to withstand the loads and environmental conditions of offshore transport and installation. Design and fabrication follow DNV-ST-N001, the marine operations and marine warranty standard that governs offshore lifting, transport and installation activities, along with other applicable class and flag-state requirements. This means capacities, interfaces and mounting points are consistent across the fleet, so units can be combined between projects without re-engineering the spread.

Our current fleet ranges from 2,500 to 4,000 tonnes capacity, with larger units available on request through our design and fabrication team. Each model below can be viewed individually for full specifications.
